The Van Horn Falcons basketball team (Independence, MO), was overwhelmed 59-35 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Oak Park Northmen (Kansas City, MO)

The Northmen now possess a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Truman for a non-league battle on Friday, January 6.

The Falcons (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Raymore-Peculiar (Peculiar, MO). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Raymore-Peculiar was overwhelmed by Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA), 62-52, in a non-league battle.
