The Teurlings Catholic Rebels basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Opelousas Catholic Vikings to 43 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Rebels now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Acadiana for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Teurlings Catholic will meet a Rams team coming off a 63-50 non-league loss to Abbeville (Abbeville, LA). The Rams record now stands at 1-12.
The Vikings (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Gueydan (Gueydan, LA). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Gueydan was outscored by Abbeville (Abbeville, LA), 47-9, in a non-league contest.
