    • Illinois High School Basketball - South Elgin can't hold off Prairie Ridge

    The Prairie Ridge Wolves basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the visiting South Elgin Storm to 43 in the Wolves non-league victory on Tuesday.

    The Wolves now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hoffman Estates for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 28. Prairie Ridge will battle a Hawks team coming off a 57-54 non-league win over Marian Central Catholic (Woodstock, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 7-4.

    The Storm (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Aurora East (Aurora, IL). The Tomcats come into the Upstate Eight contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Aurora East edged Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL), 81-68, in a non-league contest.
