North Carolina High School Basketball - Wake Christian Academy tops West Johnston

December 27, 2022: Benson, NC 27504

Wake Christian Academy Bulldogs (Raleigh, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host West Johnston Wildcats (Benson, NC), 80-69 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Wake Christian Academy upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Cleveland (Clayton, NC) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 6-4. Cleveland won 63-54 in their recent non-league bout against Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC)

Next up, the Wildcats play the East Wake Warriors (Wendell, NC) in a 3A Conference 21 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. West Johnston will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 63-48 non-league loss to Orange (Hillsborough, NC).
