The Classical Magnet Gladiators basketball team scored 40 points and held the host Cheney RVT Beavers to 21 in the Gladiators non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Gladiators now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harvard Ellis Tech for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 28. Classical Magnet will battle a Eagles team coming off a 35-24 non-league win over Tourtellotte (North Grosvenordale, CT). The Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
The Beavers (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Tourtellotte (North Grosvenordale, CT). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Tourtellotte was defeated by Harvard Ellis Tech (Killingly, CT), 35-24, in a non-league contest.
