In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Galena Pirates (Galena, IL) basketball squad edged the host Darlington Redbirds (Darlington, WI), by a margin of 46-40.
The Pirates (14-0) will now prepare for their outing against Black Hawk (South Wayne, WI). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 3-3 record. In their last outing, Black Hawk was tipped by Belmont (Belmont, WI), 44-33, in a non-league outing.
The Redbirds now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Southwestern for a Southwest Wisconsin Activities outing on Thursday, January 5.
