The Wethersfield Flying Geese basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the host Erie-Prophetstown Panthers to 25 in the Flying Geese non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Flying Geese now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Morrison for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 27. Wethersfield will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 53-19 league win over Erie-Prophetstown (Erie, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-5.
The Panthers (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Stockton (Stockton, IL). The Blackhawks come into the non-league contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Stockton prevailed over Milledgeville (Milledgeville, IL), 51-36, in a non-league contest.
