The Evans Knights basketball team (Evans, GA), was nudged 41-37 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Greene County Tigers (Greensboro, GA)

The Tigers now possess a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Briarwood Academy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 3. Greene County will battle a Buccaneers team coming off a 52-37 non-league win over Gatewood (Eatonton, GA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 9-1.

The Knights (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Glynn Academy (Brunswick, GA). The Terrors come into the AAAAAA Region 2 battle with a 2-9 record.
