Texas High School Basketball - Seguin overwhelmed by Houston Christian

The Houston Christian Mustangs basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Seguin Matadors to 24 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Columbus for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 28. Houston Christian will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 54-44 non-league loss to Hitchcock (Hitchcock, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 13-3.

The Matadors (6-16) will now prepare for their contest against Anderson-Shiro (Anderson, TX). The Fighting Owls come into the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Anderson-Shiro triumphed over Crockett (Crockett, TX), 63-59, in a league contest.
