Alabama High School Basketball - Locust Fork overwhelms Sylacauga

December 27, 2022: Sylacauga, AL 35150

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Locust Fork Hornets (Locust Fork, AL) and the host Sylacauga Aggies (Sylacauga, AL), saw Locust Fork's basketball squad wallop Sylacauga by a tally of 75-18.

With the victory, Locust Fork improves its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Appalachian (Oneonta, AL) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 29. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 5-7. Appalachian lost 56-28 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Clair County (Odenville, AL)

Next up, the Aggies confront the North Sand Mountain Bison (Higdon, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 28. Sylacauga will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Bison come into the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 64-49 non-league win over Dade County (Trenton, GA).
