Northside Mustangs (Chicago, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Maine East Blue Demons (Park Ridge, IL), 53-28 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Northside upgrades its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, IL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 7-6. Elmwood Park won 47-39 in their recent non-league bout against Streamwood (Streamwood, IL)

Next up, the Blue Demons play the Streamwood Sabres (Streamwood, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 28. Maine East will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Sabres come into the bout with a 1-13 record after their 47-39 non-league loss to Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, IL).
