The Middletown North Lions basketball team scored 38 points and held the visiting Mount St. Mary Academy Lions to 34 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Colts Neck for a Shore A - Central contest on Wednesday, December 28. Middletown North will battle a Cougars team coming off a 57-52 non-league win over East Brunswick (East Brunswick, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 2-2.
The Lions (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against East Brunswick (East Brunswick, NJ). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, East Brunswick was nudged by Colts Neck (Colts Neck, NJ), 57-52, in a non-league contest.
