California High School Basketball - Ponderosa overwhelms Sheldon

December 27, 2022: Sacramento, CA 95829

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) and the host Sheldon Huskies (Sacramento, CA), saw Ponderosa's basketball squad wallop Sheldon by a tally of 73-30.

With the victory, Ponderosa improves its record to 15-1 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Rio Linda (Rio Linda, CA) to play the Knights in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 6-3.

Next up, the Huskies play the Bret Harte Bullfrogs (Angels Camp, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 28. Sheldon will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Bullfrogs come into the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 48-41 non-league loss to Granite Bay (Granite Bay, CA).
