St. Charles North North Stars (St. Charles, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL), 56-3 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Charles North upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The North Stars travel to Jacobs (Algonquin, IL) to play the Golden Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Indians play the Elgin Maroons (Elgin, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 28. Marengo will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Maroons go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 52-16 league loss to Streamwood (Streamwood, IL).
