The Lehighton Indians basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the host Bethlehem Christian Panthers to 63 in the Indians non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Indians now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Schuylkill for a Schuylkill County 1 contest on Thursday, January 4. Lehighton will battle a Spartans team coming off a 91-27 non-league win over Belleville Mennonite (Belleville, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 7-3.

The Panthers (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Jim Thorpe (Jim Thorpe, PA). The Olympians come into the non-league bout with a 1-10 record. In their last bout, Jim Thorpe was edged by Northern Lehigh (Slatington, PA), 75-62, in a non-league bout.
