Tennessee High School Basketball - Sacred Heart of Jesus nudges Biggersville

December 27, 2023: Jackson, TN 38305

Sacred Heart of Jesus Knights (Jackson, TN) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Biggersville Lions (Corinth, MS), 76-71 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sacred Heart of Jesus upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Knights travel to Trinity Christian Academy (Jackson, TN) to clash with the Lions in a Division II-A West District 5 bout on Friday, January 5. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 5-5.

Next up, the Lions clash with the Shannon Red Raiders (Shannon, MS) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Biggersville will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a 9-5 record after their 76-65 non-league win over Walnut (Walnut, MS).
