Texas High School Basketball - Crandall knocked off by Brewer

The Brewer Bears basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Crandall Pirates to 37 in the Bears non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Bears now sport a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Midlothian for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Brewer will meet a Panthers team coming off a 49-42 non-league win over Sherman (Sherman, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 12-7.

The Pirates (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against Terrell (Terrell, TX). The Tigers enter the 5A Region II District 14 contest with a 0-12 record. In their last contest, Terrell was outscored by Roosevelt (Dallas, TX), 83-24, in a non-league contest.
