South Carolina High School Basketball - Calhoun County nudges Whale Branch

December 27, 2023: St. Matthews, SC 29135

In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Calhoun County Saints (St. Matthews, SC) basketball squad nipped the visiting Whale Branch Warriors (Beaufort, SC), by a margin of 56-51.

The Saints (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Woodland (Dorchester, SC). The Wolverines go into the non-league outing with a 8-5 record. In their last outing, Woodland got by Hunter-Kinard-Tyler (Neeses, SC), 74-42, in a non-league outing.

The Warriors now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Hunter-Kinard-Tyler for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 28. Whale Branch will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 74-42 non-league loss to Woodland (Dorchester, SC). The Trojans record now stands at 6-4.
