The Frederick Douglass Broncos basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Calloway County Lakers to 55 in the Broncos non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Broncos now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Larue County for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Frederick Douglass will battle a Hawks team coming off a 74-65 non-league win over North Laurel (London, KY). The Hawks record now stands at 6-4.
The Lakers (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against North Laurel (London, KY). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, North Laurel was defeated by Larue County (Hodgenville, KY), 74-65, in a non-league contest.
