Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC), 71-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Carroll County upgrades its record to 7-0 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Radford (Radford, VA) to clash with the Bobcats in a Three Rivers bout on Thursday, December 28. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Radford won 54-46 in their recent non-league bout against Tazewell (Tazewell, VA)

Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Tazewell Bulldogs (Tazewell, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. East Wilkes will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 0-7 record after their 54-46 non-league loss to Radford (Radford, VA).
