Chenango Valley Warriors (Binghamton, NY) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Harpursville Hornets (Harpursville, NY), 64-25 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Chenango Valley upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Warriors host Whitney Point (Whitney Point, NY) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 3-4. Whitney Point won 54-46 in their recent non-league bout against Unatego (Otego, NY)

Next up, the Hornets play the Unadilla Valley Storm (New Berlin, NY) in a Section 4 Midstate bout, on Thursday, January 4. Harpursville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Storm come into the bout with a 0-8 record after their 58-34 non-league loss to Charlotte Valley (Davenport, NY).
