The Indian Creek Redskins basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Claymont Mustangs to 40 in the Redskins non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Redskins now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Clairsville for a Buckeye 8 contest on Friday, December 29. Indian Creek will meet a Red Devils team coming off a 78-69 league loss to Beaver (Lisbon, OH). The Red Devils record now stands at 3-3.

The Mustangs (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Newcomerstown (Newcomerstown, OH). The Trojans enter the Inter-Valley contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Newcomerstown was nudged by Coshocton (Coshocton, OH), 78-43, in a non-league contest.
