Eastlake Wolves (Sammamish, WA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Southwest EC Eagles (El Centro, CA), 59-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Eastlake upgrades its record to 2-6 on the season. The Wolves travel to Inglemoor (Kenmore, WA) to play the Vikings in a 4A KingCo bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Inglemoor won 53-46 in their recent non-league bout against Sehome (Bellingham, WA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Calexico Bulldogs (Calexico, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Southwest EC will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 57-24 non-league win over Desert Hot Springs (Desert Hot Springs, CA).
