South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Dayton Dust Devils (Dayton, NV), 51-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South Tahoe upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Vikings travel to McQueen (Reno, NV) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 5-4. McQueen won 73-16 in their recent non-league bout against Gustine (Gustine, CA)

Next up, the Dust Devils play the Mineral County Serpents (Hawthorne, NV) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Dayton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Serpents go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 56-38 non-league loss to South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA).
