The Whitman Vikings (Bethesda, MD) basketball nipped the host Delaware Military Academy Seahawks (Wilmington, DE), 69-64 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Vikings (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Walter Johnson (Bethesda, MD). The Wildcats go into the Montgomery 4A/3A Central test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Walter Johnson was tipped by Hammond (Columbia, MD), 64-61, in a non-league test.
The Seahawks now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Wilmington Charter for a Diamond State test on Thursday, January 4. Delaware Military Academy will encounter a Force squad coming off a 37-32 league win over Red Lion Christian Academy (Bear, DE). The Force record now stands at 2-3.
