The Comets now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northern Highlands for a Big North - Freedom battle on Tuesday, January 2. Hackensack will confront a Highlanders team coming off a 57-43 non-league win over Pascack Hills (Montvale, NJ). The Highlanders record now stands at 5-1.

The Maroon Raiders (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Eastside (Paterson, NJ). The Ghosts come into the non-league battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Eastside was nudged by Payne Tech (Newark, NJ), 64-62, in a non-league battle.
