Franklin Panthers (Los Angeles, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host El Monte Lions (El Monte, CA), 76-34 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Franklin upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Roosevelt (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Rough Riders in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Rough Riders come into the bout with a record of 5-4. Roosevelt won 53-40 in their recent non-league bout against San Gabriel (San Gabriel, CA)

Next up, the Lions play the Wilson Mules (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. El Monte will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Mules come into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 78-70 non-league loss to Edgewood (West Covina, CA).
