The Fouke Panthers basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Emerson Pirates to 38 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

In their next game, the Panthers meet the Harmony Grove Cardinals (Benton, AR) in a 3A Region 7 match, on Tuesday, January 2. Fouke will attempt to move on its 13-4 season record.

With the defeat, Emerson moves to 8-6 on the year. The Pirates host Dermott (Dermott, AR) to meet the Rams in a 1A Region 8 match on Friday, January 5. The Rams enter the match with a record of 7-9.
