Ohio High School Basketball - Vermilion ripped by Firelands

The Firelands Falcons basketball team scored 77 points and held the host Vermilion Sailors to 47 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Falcons now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cloverleaf for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. Firelands will battle a Colts team coming off a 72-58 league loss to Norton (Norton, OH). The Colts record now stands at 5-4.

The Sailors (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Port Clinton (Port Clinton, OH). The Redskins enter the Sandusky Bay - Bay contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Port Clinton was routed by Willard (Willard, OH), 75-49, in a league contest.
