Virginia High School Basketball - Narrows nudges Fort Chiswell

In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Narrows Green Waves (Narrows, VA) basketball squad nipped the host Fort Chiswell Pioneers (Max Meadows, VA), by a margin of 65-59.

The Green Waves (9-0) will now prepare for their outing against Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA). The Mustangs go into the Pioneer outing with a 2-8 record. In their last outing, Eastern Montgomery was tipped by Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA), 59-52, in a non-league outing.

The Pioneers now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to George Wythe for a Mountain Empire outing on Wednesday, January 3. Fort Chiswell will clash with a Maroons squad coming off a 56-45 non-league win over Dorman (Roebuck, SC). The Maroons record now stands at 5-0.
