Maryland High School Basketball - Gwynn Park holds off St. Charles

Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Gwynn Park Yellowjackets (Brandywine, MD) and the visiting St. Charles (Waldorf, MD), saw Gwynn Park's basketball squad hold off St. Charles by a tally of 54-50.
With the victory, Gwynn Park improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Friendship Tech Prep Academy (Washington, DC) to confront the Titans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 6-4.
Next up, the confront the Calvert Cavaliers (Prince Frederick, MD) in a Southern Maryland challenge, on Friday, January 5. St. Charles will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record.
