Hamady Hawks (Flint, MI) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Oak Park Knights (Oak Park, MI), 48-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hamady upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Bendle (Burton, MI) to play the Tigers in a Genesee Area - Red bout on Friday, January 5. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 6-1.
