The Hedgesville Eagles basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Parkside Eagles to 33 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Eagles now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lewis County for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Hedgesville will battle a Minutemen team coming off a 65-38 non-league loss to Jefferson (Shenandoah Junction, WV). The Minutemen record now stands at 5-3.
The Eagles (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Jefferson (Shenandoah Junction, WV). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 7-0 record. In their last contest, Jefferson ran past Lewis County (Weston, WV), 65-38, in a non-league contest.
