Houston Academy Raiders (Dothan, AL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Rehobeth Rebels (Dothan, AL), 70-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Houston Academy upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Raiders travel to Abbeville (Abbeville, AL) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Abbeville won 58-54 in their recent non-league bout against Headland (Headland, AL)

Next up, the Rebels clash with the Eufaula Tigers (Eufaula, AL) in a 5A Area 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Rehobeth will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 66-65 non-league loss to Dothan (Dothan, AL).
