Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Poly Bears (Riverside, CA) and the host Inderkum Tigers (Sacramento, CA), saw Poly's basketball squad hold off Inderkum by a tally of 61-56.
With the victory, Poly improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Bears host Elsinore (Wildomar, CA) to play the Tigers in a Ivy challenge on Wednesday, January 3. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 14-3. Elsinore lost 85-46 in their recent non-league test against Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA)
The Tigers now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to River Valley for a Capital Valley Conference test on Wednesday, January 3. Inderkum will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 67-60 non-league loss to River City (West Sacramento, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 6-10.
