The Kaneland Knights (Maple Park, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Sandwich Indians (Sandwich, IL), 72-47 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Knights (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Hinckley-Big Rock (Hinckley, IL). The Royals go into the non-league test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Hinckley-Big Rock walloped Ottawa (Ottawa, IL), 63-56, in a non-league test.
The Indians now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Genoa-Kingston for a non-league test on Thursday, January 4. Sandwich will encounter a Cogs squad coming off a 51-46 non-league win over Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL). The Cogs record now stands at 6-9.
