The Kankakee Kays basketball team scored 88 points and restricted the visiting Schurz Bulldogs to 25 in the Kays non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Kays now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Latin for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Kankakee will battle a Romans team coming off a 66-47 non-league loss to Lincoln Park (Chicago, IL). The Romans record now stands at 5-8.
The Bulldogs (0-11) will now prepare for their contest against Prosser (Chicago, IL). The Falcons come into the Chicago Public - White North contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Prosser triumphed over Intrinsic (Chicago, IL), 73-41, in a non-league contest.
