With the victory, Owyhee improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Storm travel to Roosevelt (Eastvale, CA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 13-1. Roosevelt won 68-64 in their recent non-league challenge against Branson (Ross, CA)

Next up, the Matadores play the Lynwood Knights (Lynwood, CA) in a Gateway challenge, on Wednesday, January 3. La Mirada will attempt to improve on its 11-4 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 86-66 non-league win over Hesperia (Hesperia, CA).
