The Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Peoria Lions (Peoria, IL), 56-35 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Joliet Central (Joliet, IL). The Steelmen go into the non-league test with a 8-3 record. In their last test, Joliet Central walloped Harlem (Machesney Park, IL), 56-31, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Harlem for a non-league test on Thursday, December 28. Peoria will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 56-31 non-league loss to Joliet Central (Joliet, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 3-10.
