The Middlesex Bluejays basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Piscataway Vo-Tech Raiders to 61 in the Bluejays non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Bluejays now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host South River for a Greater Middlesex - Blue contest on Wednesday, January 3. Middlesex will battle a Rams team coming off a 54-43 non-league loss to Henry Hudson (Highlands, NJ). The Rams record now stands at 3-4.

The Raiders (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Perth Amboy Vo-Tech (Perth Amboy, NJ). The Patriots come into the Greater Middlesex - Gold contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Perth Amboy Vo-Tech was defeated by North Warren Regional (Blairstown, NJ), 51-40, in a non-league contest.
