With the victory, Midlothian Heritage upgrades its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Lamar (Arlington, TX) to play the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 8-9. Lamar won 72-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Creekview (Carrollton, TX)

Next up, the Scorpions play the North Side Steers (Fort Worth, TX) in a 5A Region I District 6 challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. South Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 2-15 season record. The Steers come into the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 60-21 non-league loss to Bel Air (El Paso, TX).
