Mount Anthony Patriots (Bennington, VT) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Mt. Abraham Eagles (Bristol, VT), 59-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mount Anthony upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Patriots travel to U-32 (Montpelier, VT) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 2-1.

Next up, the Eagles play the Otter Valley Otters (Brandon, VT) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Mt. Abraham will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Otters go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 64-52 non-league win over Brattleboro (Brattleboro, VT).
