New Albany Bulldogs (New Albany, IN) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Seymour Owls (Seymour, IN), 69-67 in a league bout.

With the win, New Albany upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Bulldogs host Jeffersonville (Jeffersonville, IN) to clash with the Red Devils in a Hoosier Hills bout on Friday, January 5. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Jeffersonville won 70-56 in their recent non-league bout against Evansville Bosse (Evansville, IN)

Next up, the Owls clash with the Martinsville Artesians (Martinsville, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. Seymour will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Artesians go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 70-51 non-league loss to Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IN).
