West Virginia High School Basketball - Riverside falls to Nicholas County

December 27, 2023: Belle, WV 25015

In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Nicholas County Grizzlies basketball team scored a good 55-43 triumph over the Riverside Warriors.

In their next game, the Grizzlies meet the Princeton Tigers (Princeton, WV) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 30. Nicholas County will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 3-1 record after their 70-69 non-league loss to Spring Valley (Huntington, WV).

With the defeat, Riverside moves to 2-5 on the year. The Warriors host Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV) to meet the Big Blacks in a non-league match on Friday, December 29. The Big Blacks enter the match with a record of 3-2. Point Pleasant won 61-54 in their recent league match against Ripley (Ripley, WV)
