Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Norwell Knights (Ossian, IN) and the visiting Triton Central Tigers (Fairland, IN), saw Norwell's basketball squad hold off Triton Central by a tally of 47-40.

With the victory, Norwell improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Adams Central (Monroe, IN) to confront the Flying Jets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 30. The Flying Jets come into the challenge with a record of 3-1.

Next up, the Tigers confront the Waldron Mohawks (Waldron, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. Triton Central will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Mohawks come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 65-35 non-league loss to Tri-Central (Sharpsville, IN).
