Suwannee Bulldogs (Live Oak, FL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host South Dade Buccaneers (Homestead, FL), 44-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Suwannee upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Bulldogs host Hamilton County (Jasper, FL) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 0-4.

Next up, the Buccaneers clash with the Columbia Tigers (Lake City, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. South Dade will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 51-42 non-league loss to Nease (Ponte Vedra, FL).
