The West Platte Bluejays (Weston, MO) basketball nipped the host West Nodaway Rockets (Burlington Junction, MO), 39-36 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Bluejays (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Plattsburg (Plattsburg, MO). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 9-2 record. In their last test, Plattsburg got by Bishop LeBlond (St. Joseph, MO), 47-44, in a non-league test.

The Rockets now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to North Nodaway for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 16.
