California High School Basketball - Buchanan ripped by Merced

The Merced Bears basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Buchanan Bears to 27 in the Bears non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Bears now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clovis West for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Merced will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 54-52 non-league loss to Sanger (Sanger, CA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 13-1.
The Bears (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Clovis North (Fresno, CA). The Broncos enter the non-league contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Clovis North was routed by Lemoore (Lemoore, CA), 41-28, in a non-league contest.
