Payton College Prep Grizzlies (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Crane Medical Cougars (Chicago, IL), 47-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Payton College Prep upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Grizzlies travel to Thornridge (Dolton, IL) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 7-3. Thornridge won 83-33 in their recent non-league bout against Crete-Monee (Crete, IL)

Next up, the Cougars play the Hubbard Greyhounds (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 20. Crane Medical will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 69-8 league loss to Morgan Park (Chicago, IL).
