Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Oakwood Hawks (Morgan Hill, CA) and the visiting Marina Mariners (Marina, CA), saw Oakwood's basketball squad wallop Marina by a tally of 71-49.

With the victory, Oakwood improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Hawks host Palma (Salinas, CA) to confront the Chieftains in a challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Chieftains come into the challenge with a record of 9-1.

Next up, the Mariners confront the Greenfield Bruins (Greenfield, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 29. Marina will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record.
